HydroNovation was founded in 2008 in Southern California, USA, by a core group of people from Siemens EDR R&D team, focusing on the application of industrial EDI technology to commercial and domestic markets.
In 2014, HydroNovation was acquired by Yitai Group to further explore the application of industrial EDR technology. Through unremitting efforts, HydroNovation has successfully developed a cross-disciplinary inverted electrodialysis EDR water treatment technology.
In 2015, the first EDR household product, HYDRODI G1 system, went on the market. With more than 50 patents (international/American/from Siemens), it is the first in the whole house water purification industry with the technical advantages of salt-free and soft purification.
In 2020, HYDRO DI G2 system, the second EDR technology product, went on the market, which was smarter and more stable than G1, and was recognized by the high-end whole house water purification market.
